I found another blackcap along the track behind the Sportsman and a whitethroat but not much else except whilst looking along the ditch a water vole swam into view. The first time I have ever seen one here. Also, (in the foggy weather), three sand martins over flew and 4 swallows.

I met MC on Wraik Hill watching some foxes; we both sat quietly taking photos.
